Sebastian Marek is a leading practitioner for wholesale banks and their key strategic transformational challenges. He is a Partner at Strategy& Germany and based in Stuttgart. As part of the global financial services team, he advises clients and leads high-profile assignments across Europe and the Middle East.
With more than 13 years of consulting experience, Sebastian combines profound experience in wholesale banking, structured finance, deals as well as the capital markets business. Additionally, he has in-depth knowledge in the risk, capital and regulations space.
Sebastian has co-authored many PwC and Strategy& publications. He holds a doctoral degree in insurance science as well as a diploma in mathematics and management from Ulm University. In addition to that, he holds a master’s degree in mathematics from Illinois State University.
