Partner, Strategy& Australia
Tom leads PwC's Federal Government practice where he is responsible for the delivery of services to Commonwealth clients across education, employment, social services, health, infrastructure, environment and national security agencies. In this role, he leads 50 partners in the firm's largest account in Australia.
He has worked internationally with public sector clients on financial, economic and productivity related engagements. Most recently he has coached and mentored senior leaders on how to execute strategy in complex environments, including NATO, the United Nations, as well as in financial services and telecommunications across Africa and Asia.
Tom is a director of PwC's indigenous consulting business and has worked with the owners of the business on their growth journey.
Through the Chifley Institute, Tom has led and sponsored research on the gender pay gap and early childhood education.
He has a BA and MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, the latter sponsored by the UK Economic and Social Research Council.
He lives in Canberra with his wife Elizabeth and children Charlie and Claudia.
