One of the biggest fears people have when planning for their retirement is running out of money once they get there. Even those who have saved diligently for most of their lives worry whether or not they will be able to live out a comfortable retirement.

According to a recent Bloomberg survey (opens in new tab), investors believe they will need at least $3 million in order to retire comfortably. But a comfortable retirement depends on more than just the amount of dollars you have saved. Don’t panic just yet. Here are four steps you can take now to help you enjoy your golden years.
