Stephan Ruehl

Stephan Ruehl is an advisor to executives in the Energy, Utilities and Resources practice at Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. Based in the Munich office, his focus lies on the successful transformation of the energy industry towards decarbonization – spanning from generation and transmission to distribution.

With more than 14 years of consulting experience, Stephan is a proven expert in the development of business model strategies, end-to-end optimization, cost and efficiency programs, and process-oriented reorganizations. Prior to joining Strategy&, he headed the energy and gas sector at a leading German management consultancy.

Born in South Africa, Stephan was trained in mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover and graduated with a diploma in industrial engineering at the Hochschule Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
