Jason Beckett, also known as JB, is the founder of Beckett Financial Group and has 23 years of experience in financial services. He is an Investment Adviser Representative with Brookstone Wealth Advisors, a registered investment adviser. He has extensive expertise in retirement income planning, annuities, securities and brokerage accounts, life and health insurance, estate education and business consulting.
JB was named the 2005 Small Business Person of the Year and the 2007 President of the South Carolina Fraternal Congress. He has hosted the “Beckett Financial Minute” on various radio stations throughout South Carolina since 2011. He was honored as one of Alignable's Top 25 Main Street Mentors in 2021.
JB is an ambassador of a local major hospital system and served on its foundation from 2010-2016. He currently serves as a member of the board of advisers for a nonprofit focusing on STEM education and also serves as a board member for the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of multiple local Chambers of Commerce, nonprofits and the Optimist Club.
Beckett Financial Group has been a runner-up for Best Insurance Agency in the Free Times Best of Columbia awards and has been a finalist multiple times.
