Alison joined PwC S& in 2019. She is the lead consulting partner for Policy and Strategy for our Government practice Australia-wide. She also leads our Victorian Government consulting practice. At PwC she has focused on financial sustainability, particularly opportunities to repurpose fiscal resources to activities more critical to the Government’s agenda and Department’s purpose. She also has a keen interest in, and is highly knowledgeable of, public sector governance. 

Alison is focused on ensuring that deliverables are fit for purpose, and is passionate about making certain engagements support clients to influence decisions. She has a well established record of advising Governments to deliver strong financial management - consistent budget surpluses, record infrastructure investment and a AAA credit rating. Over her career as a trusted adviser, she has spent over a decade managing political realities to deliver good public policy outcomes.

In her previous role, as Chief of Staff to the State Treasurer, her responsibilities have included strategic and timely advice that informed Government decisions on a range of economic, social and environmental issues; assisting the Government with implementing major ($5 - 10 billion)  infrastructure projects; and contributing to decisions made by the Government on major contractual arrangement across the State.
